London. Where i Left Off.

7 years on, in the same month that i left London, i'm back. I was in London at the end of Sec 4, and now i'm back. My film camera has been exchanged for a digital autofocus SLR. I shall endeavour not to lose my scarf and gloves. (unfortunately, i lost my hat in the first 3 days.)
Cold Cold Winter.
The Temperature usually lingers between -2 to 3 degrees celsius. Arrived in London at 5am, at a temperature of -1, and headed down to my rented studio. Took a few days to settle in, fight winter lethargy, get over jet-lag and buy supplies. And honestly, it was REALLY too cold to take my gloves off just to take photographs.

Went for a free tour, by Sandermanns Europe. It was really good and informative and took some nice pictures on the way. And took a nice stroll and St James' Park, complete with pelicans, other fowls and a half-frozen lake. Here is the infamous incident where a pelican ate a pigeon. Far too many pigeons in London.

Other than that, got to see Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Parliament House, Trafalgar Square (again). Trafalgar Square has alot less pigeons ever since they banned public feeding and replaced the government pellets with birth control. Trafalgar Square was also used for demonstrations against the Gaza Invasion, whilst i was happily looking at the national gallery and admiring the works of various artists, not to mention Van Gogh's famous Sunflower painting. Splendid. Did i mention the peking duck at Chinatown here is fantastic?
