Malta, Poland, Austria

Yes, i know. I have been MIA again, this time on a 12 day journey bringing me from Malta to Poland to Austria. Feels like I have not been back in london for awhile. Anyway, will be in london for the next month for studying and examinations. After that, will be heading off to USA (since its cheap to fly from here) and to Iceland.

Malta - was a fantastic experience, although the food is a little unique. Its speciality dish is Bragioli, which is a thick beef roll stuffed with meaty goodness. And like the italians and spanish, rabbits make good food. Its such a scenic island, crystal clear waters, cliffs, scenary and stinging jellyfish. My poor finger.

Poland - from malta, went on to Wroclaw (whas-war) and then later on to Krakow. Its cheaper in eastern europe and each city's old town and town square gives it that rustic charm. Poland is the land of pork cutlets and pork chops, so lincoln, choose someplace else. Wroclaw has 14 little gnomes hidden around the city doing weird stuff, so we spent our dinner calories going around and searching for them at 10pm.

From Krakow, headed down to the Auswitchz concentration camps where the jews and other ethinic minorities were systematically murdered. This was the 'mother of all camps' and killed more than an estimated 1.1 million peeps. This is the rare moment during holidays which you experience that can be characterized as a 'depressing holiday'. Let the photos speak for themselves.

Austria - home of mozart and an severely ageing population. Had the famous chocolate sachertorte (cake) and nice viennese coffee, (though the one in rome really changed my life and still takes the #1 spot). Once again, here they sell XXL schnitzels (pork cutlets) and boasts beautiful palaces. And the most interesting meal was a 1m long tray of spaghetti.

Apologies for the messed up blog entry. i guess asher would have no problem reading this, since this is his normal style.
