So many events, so little time.
So I took a hiatus from blogging for a while. Had an emo state while going through the last few weeks of training. BUT I'm back and joyous. So many things happened during the last few weeks, Stephen, Madison, that gig at Beat Merchants (tiny place), POC coming soon, christmas and 19 years old soon too!
So looking forward to 23rd december. Sergeant rank here I come!

!
We were at the hospital recently to visit Yu Xiang:
Ok - so that's old news - what to do when you're studying? Admittedly, not hard enough. But well, we learn. Lol. In case any of you get like all anxious from that shot, it was taken on purpose - he's a lot happier than that, and recovering well (just a little tempered from the morphine - haha!) Here's evidence:
Apparently some freak basketball incident, leaving him unconscious for quite some time. Thank God he's alright, and there doesn't seem to be any side effects. Keep him in prayer anyhow!
The 3 stooges at parkway after the visit:
On a more solemn note, pray for the christians in Orissa, India. They are undergoing some pretty intense persecution there. Actually its not new stuff, but there's some long settled tensions that won't disappear quickly. So if you can spare the time - pray.

Fear.
What happens when you wear tees that are WAYY too small for you.
You know death doesn't scare me as much anymore.
More frightening is the fact that I can't recognize myself.
In recent weeks, there's been thoughts flashing through.
Processed, weighed and thrown out.
Inside, heavy rain pours in the valleys of what used to be a heart.
Why? I realize how selfish I've become.
An unwilling stubbornness to put my trust in another's decisions
Leading to self-determining what is best and taking action.
I question in the midst of all of this, where are you my God?
Softly, He calls me assuring me that He has and will always be there.
But I run further and further, knowing full well that the bitter pill is the only cure.
Perhaps it could be attributed to the betrayal I feel. Not towards God.
Faith in man is always misplaced, but yet we once again we tread on.
The shards of glass glistening in the scorch of sunlight.
Do we learn our lesson? No. But once again, I find myself running in circles.
Stop looking in from the outside, todays facades exist in smiles.
In the shadow of the faces that exhibit love, lie souls that need love.
Don't pass a friend by just because he seems alright.

My Dad's Birthday... And international epidemic
As you all know today is my dad's 49th birthday (3 cheers for that) and as everyone says, pictures say a thousand words:
Uncle Joe wasn't too impressed with this one :
Uncle Joe wasn't too impressed with this one :
And now for the International Epidemic Report:
Today, the Hairus Blindus Mushroomessa strike again however 1 man decides to stand up against its global domination by means of necessary irritation.
That 1 man is my good friend all the way from Singapore, Mr. Donovan Choy
As you know the Hairus Blindus Mushroomessa is a dangerous creature and thus due to a sonic irritation wave from its posterior, it renders its opponent useless by driving him crazy:
Hairus Blindus Mushroomessa standing in its triumphant pose:
However, it gets beaten down once again by the amazing Alden!
However, the Mushroomessa isn't defeated just yet, it once again has escaped and if seen please dial 999 and 911 to make sure any distressed people are taken care of.
Thanks for your cooperation.
Alden was here.

A Spell of Fear and/or convenience - Mum's got a Car
Wanted to blog on this sometime ago BUT couldn't find the suitable heading(to me at least) for it. Oh by the way Nik, its "Harius Blindus Mushoroomessa".(Yes I HAVE remembered the name and even how to spell it=). Anyway this post takes over Yang's Report(Muahahahahahahaha...) and happy birthday to Nelson*opps did i remind any1 to give Nelson a happy birthday?*. My mum got a new car...sigh...I have no idea whether thats a good sign OR a bad sign...Pros and Cons:
Pro/Cons:
Mum can drive us to school.
She can drive herself to the market
Dad ain't here
Pros:
She can keep it as clean as she wants and can even wash it all day by herself if she wanted to.
It's hers?
Now when we're in Dad's car going to church, we rarely have nagging cos of mum's absence
Cons:
IF we mess up her car------>nag
IF we dirty her car--------->nag
IF WE are dirty IN her car->nag
IF WE smell IN her car----->nag
Nag Nag Nag Nag Nag...ONE of the things she does most...don't know if she likes it and don't WANT to know.
Oh yeah...Innovation on the CNNgoi <---Random
Hairy's Inventions and crazy idea <---Stuff

Like, best band in the world...
Anyways, had BS on Saturday :) Celebrated Karrington and Jon Teo's belated birthday. Mr Bao taught - serious! And it was good teaching. ARK ah boys - remember!
I must also say, first time we had full attendance! Cool stuff. Pictures to go:
The mafia, plus one smiling jokerHappier times:trip to block 18 (i think) for MAKAN! haven't been there for quite a while - was quite nostalgic, and i'm sure for mr Wong too. Just look at him in the back of the car:Notice that Ben is totally crammed. Tall is not good all the time.
It was the last supper for Ronald too - all the best for him in Thailand! Keep him in your prayers ;)
And again here, mr wong, remembering what it was like to forget to brush his teeth:
And of course, what better than to pay tribute to the intrepid explorer who discovered our dear hairius blindness whatever mushroom:
I shall leave the description to the mushroom himself!
